Child safety

At Chongi, we recognise our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people by protecting them from harm. Team Chongi is committed to working to provide a safe environment for all children and young people to participate to the best of their abilities for as long as they choose to do so. All staff hold recent CRB checks, have regular Safeguarding and Child Protection updates/training and, core to their role, they understand their responsibility to act upon and report any concerns. We have an assigned Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer who ensures safe practice at all times.
